2018 BMW Z4 Concept
August 18 2017 - BMW of Bridgewater
Yesterday in Pebble Beach, BMW launched their concept for the next BMW Z4. The design is simple, stylish, and elegant. This variation of the Z4 will take drivers back to a more simple design having only one thing in mind; the pleasure of driving.
The production Z4 will be a joint project between BMW and Toyota, collaborating on some internal design elements for under the hood. Each will be tuned differently to achieve each company's standard of driving. The BMW Z4 will be powered by a 3.0 Liter, inline 6-cylinder engine with approximately 360 horse power. Fortunately for enthusiasts, this vehicle will be available with a manual transmission option. Unfortunately, Toyota's Supra is rumored to only have an automatic option.
At first glance, you will notice some changes have been made to this vehicle. At the grille, you will notice more angular headlights, and a wider grille giving the vehicle a meaner look that will show throughout the entire design of the vehicle. Moving towards the back of the vehicle, you will notice wider fender flares and an upswept belt line. The rear spoiler is integrating with the tail lights wrapping around the back of the vehicle, completing the Z4's look of being both stylish and sporty. BMW will return to the soft top design to maintain a light weight and easier maneuverability. This BMW concept is suspected to be released sometime in mid-2018 and we can't wait!
