The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here, the 2019 X7. The G07 is BMW’s first true third row vehicle. Two models will be apart of the X7 family, the X7 xDrive40i and the xDrive50i. The X7 xDrive40i will have 335 horsepower and 330 lb-ft and will start at $73,900, while the X7 xDrive50i will have 456 horsepower and 479 lb-ft and will start at $92,600. The xDrive40i model will have a 3.0L inline 6-cylinder and the xDrive50i model will have a 4.4L V8 under the hood.
Both vehicles will include electrically controlled sliding headliner shades for the front, center and read sunroof with the ability for the third row passengers to control the rear sliding shade. An optional Captain’s Chair for second row seats will be available for both models, but it will reduce seating capacity to six people.
Exterior options include your standard colors such as Alpine White, Arctic Grey, Black Sapphire, Carbon Black (only available for M Sport), Dark Graphite, Jet Black, Mineral White, Phytonic Blue and a new color introduced to the lineup, Vermont Bronze. We even see an awesome lineup of BMW Individual options too such as Ametrin Red, Pyrite Brown, Ruby Black and even Tanzanite Blue. Your standard SensaTec is only available in the xDrive40i model while Vernasca Leather is standard in the xDrive50i. There are nine Vernasca Leather options available for both models. A two-tone Ivory White and Navy Blue Full Leather Merino interior has also been introduced to the X7.
Safety options are standard on both the xDrive40i and the xDrive50i. They both come standard with Active Protection, and Active Driving Assistant, which include Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Frontal Collision Warning with City Collision Mitigation (which now alerts the driver if cyclists are detected), Cross Traffic Alert Rear and Speed Limit Info. The xDrive50i model has Parking Assistant Plus standard with the vehicle. Parking Assistant Plus provides a Top View, Panorama View and 3D View, Head Up Display, and Active Driving Assistant Professional with Active Lane Keeping Assistant and Extended Traffic Jam Assistant.
The 2019 X7 will definitely be a head turner when they are on the road. We are expecting these vehicles to arrive at stores early spring!
