The all-new 2019 X5 will be arriving in showrooms on November 10th of this year. The base price of the X5 xDrive40i starts at $60,700 while the X5 xDrive50i starts at $75,750. This car is completely redesigned. Some of these improvements include new headlights, taillights, interior options, and entertainment system.
There is a drastic change to the exterior of the X5, but the length and width of the car is not a significant difference. The length is 1” longer, from wheel to wheel it’s 1.6” longer and the width is about 2.6” longer than the F15 generation. We will be adding phytonic blue to the color family as an exterior option with the new X5 along with a coffee colored interior option as well.
Minus the brand new look of the X5, there are new packages and options with this car. One of the packages is the Off-road Package. The Off-road Package will give you the ability to take the X5 onto certain terrains if need be. This package will offer an M-Sport Differential, 2-axel air suspension, four off road modes, specific user interface in the instrument cluster and central display, and lastly, a sump guard on the front and the rear of the vehicle. Another package is the “Driving Assistance Professional Package.” This package offers Extended Traffic Jam Assistant for limited access highways and Active Driving Assistant Pro. Some options in this car include Gesture Control and BMW Laserlight. By popular demand, BMW has brought back the Remote Engine Start for this vehicle as a $300 option.
The standard option list has grown. The X5 is the first BMW to have safety features as standard options. They include Active Blind Spot Detection, Frontal Collision Warning with City Collision Mitigation and Lane Departure Warning. Other standard features include Adaptive Full LED Lights, Comfort Access keyless entry and automatic high beams.
We should be expecting this awesome SAV to be at dealerships as early as November 10th!
