BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant is a one of a kind assistant built into your BMW. It will be introduced into our brand new, resigned 2019 3 Series. It allows you to speak various commands without pressing any button. To enable the Personal Assistant, all you have to do is simply say “Hey BMW”. “Hey BMW” will prompt on the screen and you can ask “Hey BMW” a question or give a command.

The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant allows you to even personalize the “Hey BMW” command. For example, you can say, “Hey BMW change your name to Teresa.” Since the command has been changed from “Hey BMW” to “Hey Teresa”, you can now say “Hey Teresa” instead of “Hey BMW”. The Personal Assistant even learns the way you speak. If you use a specific word for heated seats, such as “seat warmers”, BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant will learn to recognize what you call heated seats and set the “seat warmers”. BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant can even be used for navigation purposes. Simply say, “Hey BMW, I’m craving French fries.” BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant will round up a list of restaurants in the area that will cater to your current craving by rating, type of restaurant, etc.

BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant even cares about your wellbeing. “Hey BMW, I’m feeling a little stressed.” Depending on your vehicles equipment, BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant can close the sunroof shade, soften the ambient lighting and even can adjust the climate and the music output to lessen the stress. BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant can even act as your owner’s manual. Asking “Hey BMW” about different options in your vehicle. For example, “Hey BMW, how does the Blind Spot Monitor Work?” From there, BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant will read straight from the owner’s manual and explain how functions work. BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant can even tell you if you need a service done to your car. Simply saying “Hey BMW, what is the oil level of my car?” will enable BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant to tell you the measurement of the oil in your car. Your BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant can even give you different (safe) functions to try out as you’re driving. “Hey BMW, I’m bored.” BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant will find you options to try out as you drive. For example, your Personal Assistant can recommend trying Sport Mode. 
 

BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant will be offered for models featuring the new BMW iDrive 7.0 as part of the Live Cockpit Professional.
