On October 17, 2007, the BMW Welt was opened. The center is located across from the BMW Museum in the center of Munich. The Welt is a place where BMW fans of  all ages can get together to share their love of the Ultimate Driving Machine. Activities range from tours of the facility, tours of the BMW Museum, take delivery of a newly purchased BMW, even experience some of BMW's newest electric technology. The BMW Welt is a multi-purpose center used for promotional events, concerts, business meetings, and more.
